"Yesterday afternoon, 4 January, was my first visit to Gabe's and the entire experience was very good. I plan on continuing to visit, most likely in late February, to see Sarah, for another hair-trim and neck shave. The shop atmosphere is excellent, since it attracts a healthy mix of all kinds of people, and the floors are regularly swept up when the techs finish each customer. The shop faces South, so the sunshine is definitely an additional blessing for those of us with a little S.A.D. going on during the Winter Solstice period. Gabe himself will come in on Thursday mornings between 8 and 10, but you might want to schedule a cut, since he will depart promptly at 10:00. And finally, the price for me was reasonable, which enables leaving a good tip."

"Hello! This is my third time as a walk in for Gabe’s Barbershop. It has a classic atmosphere, and they do an amazing straight razor shave. This time I was in for a haircut which includes a straight razor shave on the back of the neck, and my barber was Christyna. She is very genuine and down to earth. We had a pleasant conversation while she cut my hair. I told her how I usually have my hair done and that I add pomade to it. She even asked if I was alright with the straight razor on my neck before hand. My hair is extremely straight and can be a challenge for hair stylist at times. Christyna handled it like a champ, and didn’t make me feel bad for the fact I’ve been having a hard time with dandruff recently. I’m very pleased with the haircut as its not poofy, and its short for the hot temperatures we’ve been having, and it handles pomade well! Below I have listed photos of before and after the haircut, as well as after pomade was applied. For a $20 haircut I couldn’t be happier, thank you Christyna! I look forward to my next haircut!"
